Hi,
I have this bug since KDE 4 but no one seems to address it. I need multiple
attempts to remove an item from the panel.

Why do we even have to use such a stupid approach to add/remove an item?
Have a look @Xfce(

can open a dialog that displays all items, you can drag them around, add or
remove them - dead simple!
EXPECTED RESULT
A proper and user-friendly way to add/remove panel items even if they are empty
