It downloads emails until the server responds with ErrorServerBusy and never recovers. Meanwhile, our IT department suggested using Hiri... it suffers the same problem as Akonadi it seems. Only Thunderbird ExQuilla is working... if by working you accept the fact that the editor will periodically freeze for many seconds and it will frequently fail to send emails.
