SUMMARY
Whenever I create notes in Kontact, they do not appear on the screen. When I
create notes via KNotes standalone application, it will disappear as soon as I
close KNotes standalone application (probably intended behaviour). When I open
Kontact afterwards, behaviour depends on whether KNotes standalone is still
running or not.
If it's still running, clicking on the notes tab in Kontact creates a new note
on desktop, but the notes cannot be viewed from within Kontact. Instead,
Kontact states, that it tries to bring KNotes standalone application to the
foreground (which it doesn't do, it just opens a new note in the background).
Clicking repeatedly on the notes tab does nothing, unless you switch to another
Kontact tab in between. In that case, it produces a new note every time I try
to switch back to the notes tab.
If KNotes isn't still running, opening Kontact shows the available notes when
switching to the notes tab as intended, but the notes do not show on my desktop
at all, and I do not see any way to bring them to my desktop. Creating notes in
Kontact/notes does not bring the notes to the desktop either.
