Bug ID: 361624 Summary: notifications exceed screen, hiding close button, so that they can not be closed manually Product: plasmashell Version: 5.6.2 Platform: Chakra OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Notifications Assignee: mklape...@kde.org Reporter: i...@cyrilbrosch.net CC: plasma-b...@kde.org As it should do, kdeconnect notifies me of new e-mail my Android gmail app receives. But as it cites the whole message text, the notifications can get very long, and in fact they sometimes are longer than there is vertical space on my screen. I attach a screen shot. In such case the close button is somewhere above my screen and not reachable. I can't close the notifcation (clicking them once closed them, but this behavior was recently changed) and I have to wait until it dissapears from itself. Of course I could file a bug report against kdeconnect (crop you notifcations!), but I think the right place for this to be fixed is Plasma, as it may concern also other applications. So, please make sure that notifications never grows higher than the screen is high or give another possibility to close them, e.g. via right-click option. Reproducible: Always -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
