            Bug ID: 403611
Summary: Audio indicator volume change causes inconsistency and
                    confusion
           Product: latte-dock
           Version: 0.8.3
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: application
          Assignee: mvourla...@gmail.com
          Reporter: everm...@pc-portal.at
  Target Milestone: ---

If "Show indicator for audio streams" is enabled, there is an Audio Icon shown
on icons which have an active audio stream, which on its own is a great feature
as it is an indicator.

The problem is that it also changes the basic functionality of Latte dock.
What I mean is that normally you hover over an icon and either scroll up to
open or scroll the application or down to just scroll through open
applications.

But if you have the feature enabled, you can accidentally hover over the small
indicator and it will change the volume of the application without indication,
instead of scrolling through the application as expected.
I personally only noticed this after realizing that all my applications are set
to different volumes, so I never knew this was actually an feature.

So this add confusion and inconsistency to expected workflow.

A good solution would be to add a sub option "change volume when scrolling",
which should not be enabled by default.
