--- Comment #10 from Viorel-Cătălin Răpițeanu <rapiteanu.cata...@gmail.com> --- Just throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks... This is a really tough thing, because Latte is way more powerful than any other existing docks, so any existing solutions for this isn't gonna cut it. This being said, this is I've been thinking so far: 1. Notification badge. Remain where it is (top-left corner). Because it can cover the complete top row, I don't think anything else should be placed on this row. 2. Sound badge button. Move to the bottom-right for all aplications. You can't know long the notification badge is/will become and you probably don't want it to move on its own to other places based on the notification width (that's dumb because it forces the user to always look carefully every single time it tries to mute an application). 3. Progress badge. Also move to the bottom-right for all applications. Right now it's hidden whenever a notification is being displayed. 4. Progress + Sound notification scenario. Combine the Progress badge with the notification badge. The button should remain round, display the sound icon in the middle while the button's background can be the progress pie. (I know... This will probably be hell to implement it). For now, this is all I could think of... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
