Hi Marsella,

Just to make sure, since you were not clear on what you were actually trying to
do:

* you have an image open
* you either drag and drop a jpg image onto the open image and choose "insert
as new layer"
* or you go to the layer menu and import an image as a layer there
* then you get a crash

A jpg file should be fine in all cases. Does Krita only crash if you try this
with this exact file, or with any file? If Krita only crashes with that jpg
file, please attach it to the bug report.

If not, please go to
https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/dr_minw_debugger.html, locate the
kritacrash.log file and attach it to the bug report.

Please also attach the information from help/system information about bug
reports to the bug report.

Note that Krita 4.1.5 is one version behind the current version: the current
version is 4.1.7, so it might be useful to also test with the latest version.
