Yuri Chornoivan <yurc...@ukr.net> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|REPORTED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |WORKSFORME CC| |yurc...@ukr.net --- Comment #4 from Yuri Chornoivan <yurc...@ukr.net> --- There is no need to print to EPS (or PDF) in the current version (Applications 18.12). KmPlot exports plots in EPS (bitmap, 96 dpi for web view) or SVG (vector graphics). Due to Qt limitations, every single SVG cannot be included into LaTeX using "svg" package. The problem arrives for the functions with high variation in the plot range (cannot be observed for "sin(x)" but breaks the results with "Dimension too large" for "x^5"). But every KmPlot's SVG plot can be converted into PDF using Inkscape flawlessly: inkscape --export-pdf=MyFig.pdf MyFig.svg The result of such conversion perfectly fits textbooks (vector graphics). Moreover, current versions of Inkscape (> 0.91) allow conversion SVG into LaTeX directly thus removing the problem of font consistency between the text and figures.
