It was introduced before Qt 5.6.0 release - in the following commit: https://code.qt.io/cgit/qt/qtbase.git/commit/?id=1e15b428b59c3134a0f584bfb303e95d0682e45d The issue is currently present both in Qt 5.6 and 5.7 branches. Fortunately, the commit that reintroduced the issue this time is extremely small.
