If you mean that krita should do on-canvas editing, well, no, that's unlikely to happen. We had that, and we just couldn't get it working properly with our available resources. If you mean that that screenshot shows that the font of the text changes without having to select the text, well, there is selected text, isn't there? And finally, yes, we know that the text should be made friendlier. We are working on that.
