--- Comment #9 from pie...@starcumulus.owl.de --- Now it's more corrupt than before. I cannot also use empty clean BD-RE Medias although the free space is bigger than the iso image size. Check screenshots I've uploaded as attachments. … before start … shows the image size and the free space of the media. … after try … shows the message window which ask for a proper media. Here a debugging output which shows the versions of software only: Devices ----------------------- HL-DT-ST BD-RE BE06LU10 YE05 (/dev/sr0, CD-R, CD-RW, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-R DL, HD DVD-ROM, BD-ROM, BD-R, BD-RE, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD+R DL) [DVD-ROM, DVD-R Sequential, DVD-R Dual Layer Sequential, DVD-R Dual Layer Jump, DVD-RAM, DVD-RW Restricted Overwrite, DVD-RW Sequential, DVD+RW, DVD+R, DVD+R Dual Layer, CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, HD DVD-ROM, BD-ROM, BD-R Sequential (SRM), BD-R Random (RRM), BD-RE] [SAO, TAO, RAW, SAO/R96P, SAO/R96R, RAW/R16, RAW/R96P, RAW/R96R, Restricted Overwrite, Layer Jump, Random Recording, Sequential Recording, Sequential Recording + POW] [%7] System ----------------------- K3b Version: 2.0.3 KDE Version: 4.14.26 QT Version: 4.8.7 Kernel: 4.9.0-8-amd64 Here the info from K3B's Media Info menu: Empty BD-RE medium Medium Type: BD-RE Capacity: 2715:25:17 min (23,3 GiB) Remaining: 2715:25:17 min (23,3 GiB) Rewritable: yes Appendable: yes Empty: yes Layers: 1 Sessions: 0 Supported writing speeds: 2.0x (8992 KB/s) Here the info shown by dvd+rw-mediainfo: Medium pierre@nihilnihil:~$ dvd+rw-mediainfo /dev/dvd INQUIRY: [HL-DT-ST][BD-RE BE06LU10 ][YE05] GET [CURRENT] CONFIGURATION: Mounted Media: 43h, BD-RE Media ID: VERBAT/IM0 Current Write Speed: 2.0x4495=8992KB/s Write Speed #0: 2.0x4495=8992KB/s GET [CURRENT] PERFORMANCE: Write Performance: 2.0x4495=8992KB/s@[0 -> 12219391] Speed Descriptor#0: 02/12219391 R@2.0x4495=8992KB/s W@2.0x4495=8992KB/s READ DISC INFORMATION: Disc status: blank Number of Sessions: 1 State of Last Session: empty "Next" Track: 1 Number of Tracks: 1 READ FORMAT CAPACITIES: unformatted: 12219392*2048=25025314816 00h(3000): 11826176*2048=24220008448 30h(3000): 11826176*2048=24220008448 30h(5000): 11564032*2048=23683137536 30h(1000): 12088320*2048=24756879360 31h(800): 12219392*2048=25025314816 READ TRACK INFORMATION[#1]: Track State: blank Track Start Address: 0*2KB Free Blocks: 0*2KB Track Size: 0*2KB I can try to burn the iso with grwoisofs by the way it is my last virgin BD-RE media. I think there is now problem to do it. In my opinion the media detection does not support the use of BD-RE medias.
