--- Comment #14 from Rod J <rod.jamie...@gmail.com> --- I've just tested KJots 5.0.2 in Kubuntu 18.04 and it appears to be working OK now. I managed to create several new KJots books under "Notes" and a few pages in each book, it seems to be saving them automatically and I can reopen them subsequently after closing KJots and restarting it. I can also see the the notes externally to KJots in the folder: /home/rod/.local/share/notes/akonadi_akonotes_resource_0/ so backing them up should be possible too. I'd say the bug has been fixed.
