The mconnect project is not affiliated with us and, as far as I know, is
completely unsupported. If you are looking for a Gnome Shell extension,
gsconnect is more modern and supported (though also not officially a part of
KDE Connect): https://github.com/andyholmes/gnome-shell-extension-gsconnect
The official KDE Connect messaging client has not been released but it is
"coming soon"
