A few years ago I realized that I couldn't maintain the project anymore and was looking for someone willing to take over. Someone eventually did express interest and started the process to get a KDE account and become the new maintainer. However, that never got finalized. I recently checked up with him to find out what's going on, and he replied that he was no longer interested.
