The titler crash was fixed in MLT's current git version, and will be part of
MLT 0.6.2 that is not released yet. We recommend that you use our official
Ubuntu PPA's:
https://launchpad.net/~kdenlive/+archive/ubuntu/kdenlive-stable
This provides latest stable version of Kdenlive with recent git version of MLT
/ Freior and should fix the titler crash.
