I have the same problem since the upgrade to frameworks 5.51 under Kubuntu
18.10.
The crash also happens when trying to browse (the non functional -
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=392447) smb://
When I install libkf5kiocore 5.50 everything is back to normal.
One file which cause this bug for me is a .webm file which only contains an
audio, but no video track. Another one is a .wma file.
The crash only occurs when thumbnail previews are enabled, or when i hover the
mouse over the file with Dolphins "Show tooltips" enabled.
KDE neon gitunstable did not show this behavior, also the stable useredition of
neon from 01.11. also no longrr exhibits the problem - a previous build did.
