--- Comment #13 from anotherguy <lubrano.yann...@gmail.com> ---
Hello !

I'm experiencing the same problem on my platform (archlinux updated 28/03/2016,
plasma desktop 5.6.0-1, amarok 2.8.0-8, phonon backend : gstreamer, feel free
to ask for more details if needed).

I started from the default amarok configuration and unchecked a lot of features
in the amarok configuration panel to detect the faulty one but the problem is
still there.

As I was searching for a solution, I found this thread
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=205349 and I think the bug reported here
may be related to this older one.

Below is what I'm exactly experiencing that makes me think they are related.
The problem occurs everytime I repeat this scenario. I tested with the playlist
repeat mode on "standard" and "repeat album", seems not to have an incidence
here.

- I start listening to a mp3 album.
The first track length is 4:21,
      2nd is 4:58,
      3rd is 4:15
      4th is 4:47
      5th is 4:29
      6th is 4:25
and 7th is 6:02
The album contains more than 7 tracks but these first 7 ones are enough to
explain the problem.
- Amarok reads the first and the second tracks entirely
- then, it skips the third (which I noticed is shorter)
- then, it starts playing the fourth but not from the beginning. It starts at
4:15 (the skipped preceding track duration...).
- then it skips both the fifth and sixth tracks (I noticed they are each
shorter than their preceding)
- and finally plays the 7th.
