First, Discover needs a menubar (then it will be visible to the global menu
plasmoid). +1 on the menubar when in desktop mode. Desktop apps have menubars
so you can learn the full functionality--and, more importantly, the keyboard
shortcuts for that functionality. My sense is that the lack of a menubar is one
of the things that makes people dislike Discover because it doesn't feel like a
regular desktop app when run on the desktop.
