Adding ~120 clips of various framesrates, size and time (10sec - 3min; 30fps
and 60fps) to a new project takes very long. Once adding is completed and after
saving and reopening the project it takes forever to open the project.
Same task works smoothly with 18.08.2 on the same laptop.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start kdenlive (Refactoring Version) from AppImage
2. Add Clips (~120)
3. Wait - processor is at 100% usage during this time
4. No progress visible in UI - no thumbnails - UI unresponsive
5. Import done - save project
6. Close & restart kdenlive
7. Open saved project - wait forever - stopped waiting after a couple of
minutes and moved back to 18.08.2
SOFTWARE VERSIONS: kdenlive-18.12-beta8-x86_64.AppImage
Additional info: Same system is running kdenlive 18.08.2 (AppImage Version) -
maybe config files are conflicting....???
