Which file manager do you use? Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V works very well with Dolphin.
It also works under Windows with the File Explorer.
Yes, drag & drop to outside of digiKam is a copy action. There are users who
want to drag their image to Gimp or another application and that only works
with a copy action. We will not change that.
