Bug ID: 398904 Summary: Unable to configure kwallet to allow auto connect to local network Product: docs Version: 4.13.2 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: docs.kde.org Assignee: kde-doc-engl...@kde.org Reporter: gryphon...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Where to begin ... All I wanted to do was have my ethernet connection auto connect on system start. You know, like it did before I had to reinstall, like it does on the Live system. But it doesn't (didn't, god willing). The ethernet doesn't even have a password, for christ sake. Yet it gets dumped into kwallet. And the help system - Really?. First rule of kde: don't ask kde. It's like you're expecting people to not use it. And so the usual hamster wheel of checking page after page of utterly boring crap, until I find that one person who actually managed to figure out wtf you were thinking. I really hate whinging like this - it is what it is. But here's what you need to do: just link to the Arch wiki. The people who know what's happening have made an effort to explain it to the Great Unwashed. For now, it's time to grab an axe, crank up the Metal and leave some good looking corpses. BTW, not being able to find the info you need is a bug. Don't think it isn't. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
