Hello from the KDE Bugsquad!
Unfortunately, Yahoo has discontinued the Yahoo Messenger service, and the code
has been removed from Kopete.
Thus, I am closing this bug as "UNMAINTAINED" since it will no longer be
fixable, or able to operate due to Yahoo.
