            Bug ID: 397950
Summary: System Tray - Review general concepts and usability of
                    the settings
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 5.13.4
          Platform: Slackware Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: task
          Priority: NOR
         Component: System Tray
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: britalme...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: 1.0

This is a somewhat open ended report.

I found the system tray hard to configure.
Are there 2 types of entries are "Visible" and "Extra"? mixed with an
Autoloaded concept? These settings are then split across 2 tabs, which make it
hard to overview.
Are the categories really useful?

Suggestion:
- Remove the categories.
- Have only one tab with all the possible entries listed and the following
columns: Enabled/Disabled Checkbox, Name, Location (Panel|Extras), Visibility
(Always, AutoLoaded), Keyboard Shortcut.
- Add the possibility to reorder the icons by drag and dropipng them on the
table.
- Add the possibility to manage both the place (panel, extras) and the relative
order of the icons in-place by directly dragging the icons on the widget. This
would update and save the settings.
