Bug ID: 397883 Summary: Can not choose the icon style for the views and panels Product: dolphin Version: 18.08.0 Platform: Slackware Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: britalme...@gmail.com CC: elvis.angelac...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Hello! When configuring dolphin, I do not find a setting to set the icon style between the monochrome and the colored one. It seems to be entirely dependent on the size of the icon, which results in having the icons in a size that is not the desired one and possibly inconsistent between the main area and the panels. In my specific case, I used the "Detailed View" as I like to inspect folders with the unfold button and I see more information. I like to use this view in a compact list style. Occasionally, I click the preview button if I navigate to a folder with images. Now, given that my usual list is quite compact, the icons are small and I can not distinguish them in monochrome style. I can only change the style by increasing the icon size, so now they are too big. Additionally, they don't match what I see in the places as those icons are monochrome and I can't (or want to) change their size. Size and style should just be independent. Having a consistent icon style, allows for recognizing my files and folders instantly, as they don't change representation. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
