Hello
Just loaded the most recent as of 25Aug18 version of Neon along with 70 to 80
updates. No problems in install or updating.
Computer is powered up and KDE login screen displays. Password is entered and
the KDE logo and spinning circle display on a black background.
Almost immediately the audio file from my autostart app plays. The app has run
perfectly in KDE for at least the past 5 to 10 years.
This condition remains for about 25 to 30 seconds then the plasma desktop
appears with no error messages. KDE runs perfectly after the delay.
No mousepointer appears and the keyboard is totally ignored. Ctrl-Alt-Del
appears to have no effect.
I have no .xsession-errors file and the xOrg log appears 'normal' although my
technical knowledge is very limited.
This happens consistently on KDE startup.
