Finally, I figured how to repro.
1. Important: Move krusader to the very right edge of the screen.
2. Click on the right panel bookmark button.
3. Move mouse away.
4. Don't touch the mouse and only navigate with a keyboard to a submenu.
Might be an upstream bug, i.e. Qt bug.
