I use Kate 17.12.3 in XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=ubuntu:GNOME (on Ubuntu 18.04.1). So
I have a Gnome Open dialog.
When (using Open Recent) I open a file from an SSH server which is currently
not connected in Gnome File Manager, Kate behaves as if the file were empty
(not giving an error message as it should instead).
I suspect it may lead to data loss (if someone indeed connects to the server
using Gnome File Manager and saves the file after this). So I mark this bug as
"major".
