I have a secondary panel on my left screen edge, configured to auto-hide. When
I move my mouse cursor to the left screen edge, it triggers the unhide action
and the panel is shown. However, the trigger keeps triggering even if the panel
is already shown, resulting in the panel "flashing" (i.e. restarting the unhide
animation) whenever the mouse cursor hits the edge.
