In 4.20.0alpha (git 9a237sd), when using Transform Tool (ctrl+t) on a
selection, and then apply the transformation, the contents of the selection
disapears. The selection is still active, but the border is invisible. Deselect
i sgreyed out, and when I try to draw something, the strokes only appear in
where the hidden selection is.

With larger documents, with multiple layers and open for a while, sometimes the
contents of the entire layer disappears after applying the transform, and undo
will only bring back some parts or will do nothing at all, even whne going all
the way to the beginning of the Undo stack. I can not, however, reliable
reproduce this.
