      <xsl:text>&#10;</xsl:text> <!-- newline character -->

did not work for me. It perfectly inserts a new line in the plot at "change
entry" but this linebreak is not shown in the main window. I played a bit
around and 

     <xsl:text><![CDATA[<p>]]></xsl:text>

helped.
