Hello and thanks for your detailed bug report. The problem with this change
would be that it would cause another bug: If a user wanted to use the slider to
make all icons permanently bigger, this would not work because after a restart
all changes would be gone. It is interesting to know that Nemo does apply this
behavior, but I am not sure if it'd be a good change for Dolphin.
Is there a specific use case where this problem couldn't simply be resolved by
using "Remember properties for each folder" instead? That'd be great to know.
