--- Comment #3 from pier andre <pier_andr...@yahoo.it> --- I don't know about the firmware of closing and opening the laptop lid, but, following the instruction in the site: creating this file: /etc/tmpfiles.d/disable-lid-wakeup.conf with into this: w /proc/acpi/wakeup - - - - LID has been so simple that I though it was simple as well to introduce an "open lid" option beside the "close lid" one.
