I had an older version with the same issue, then thought updating the software would fix it, but it didn't. I was lining a drawing of mine and I had almost finished, but as I was about to finish, any drawing tools I tried to use stopped working. I checked if I had accidentally made the layer I was working on invisible or if I was on eraser mode, but I wasn't. I've also tried deleting the layer and creating a new one, but that didn't fix the problem either. I opened a new document and the drawing tools work, but they won't work on the drawing I'm currently trying to finish.
