I have recently installed 4.14.8 KDE package on two similar systems using
Scientific Linux 7.5. On one of the systems, the grey icon on the top bar for
Krfb desktop does not show. It is there, however, and I can click on topbar to
open it.
Otherwise, it works nicely on both systems.
