Ahh, no. The eraser tool does not work on a colorize mask tool. The colorize
mask tool is a very specialized tool. It only works if you use it a certain way
as described by the documentation..

If you start doing things outside of that workflow it might have issues like
you are bringing up. If there is something you are wanting it to do. File a new
feature request ticket. Right now we only expect it to work with a certain
workflow.
