In my opinion, this is an absolute must. My folder hierarchy is rarely very
deep, and still I see myself scrolling manually all the time. It's probably a
lot worse in screens with low horizontal resolution, where you can't "afford" a
wide panel.
The fact that the tree can look like the screenshot I have attached, just by
navigating 5 levels below your home folder, makes the Folder Panel look kind of
dumb. Which is regrettable, because it's otherwise incredibly useful and a
great piece of software!
