            Bug ID: 394880
Summary: Use different security strategy for different types of
                    credentials
           Product: frameworks-kwallet
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: va...@kde.org
          Reporter: guoyunhebr...@gmail.com
                CC: kdelibs-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

This is just a suggestion. I am not sure if it is technically possible.

1. For WiFi password, use a weak wallet that doesn't ask for password. (Maybe
use the same password as user to unlock it)
2. For Chromium password, email account, use a strong wallet that asks for
password.

WiFi password is always a painful thing for using kwallet. Each time I boot my
PC I have to type password. (You don't have to do this in any other systems)

By default, all applications use the same default wallet. To protect some
important passwords, I have to encrypt the whole wallet with GnuPG key.

Here can be two default wallets: one is named "wallet", use the same plain
password as Linux user; the other is named "secret_wallet", require users to
specify a different password than Linux user, or use a GnuPG key.
