            Bug ID: 394242
Summary: Import settings unneccesarily asks to overwrite image
database, and crashes when I decline
           Product: digikam
           Version: 6.0.0
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Import-Settings
          Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: jens-bugs.kde....@spamfreemail.de
  Target Milestone: ---

1. Open import settings (e.g. by clicking on the link "Warning: file metadata
is not used" in the right sidebar of the import window)
2. Just press OK

There is a dialog saying that an image database already exists at the given
location ~/Pictures, and I can choose whether to overwrite it with the
currently used one or create a new one.

1. This dialog does not make sense. I never changed the image db location and I
don't want to overwrite anything. This is confusing and makes people insecure
because there is no "Cancel and touch nothing" option.

2. Even worse: If I just close this dialog, Digikam crashes. Oh, very bad -
what happened to my image database now? Was it deleted? (Fortunately not, but
this behaviour kills users' trust in the application...)
