Bug ID: 394171 Summary: Text Sizes Are Too Large Product: krita Version: 4.0 Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Tool/Text Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: k...@kenevans.net Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 112602 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=112602&action=edit Screen Shot of Text Sizes in a 1600 x 1200 Document (Zoomed to Fit) The text tool font sizes are a fixed selection from 6 pt to 72 pt. Unfortunately for me even the smallest is very large. I will include a screen shot. Note that the smallest size (6 pt) is much larger than the font size in the UI, and certainly isn't 0.083 in (assuming 1 pt = 1/72 in). 6 pt is usually a very small font, but not here. The net result is that even using the smallest font size, the text is too big to look good. This may be owing to the fact my Display 1 is high-res @ 250 DPI. However, Krita is running on a Cintiq on Display 2 @ 96 DPI. Krita is set to "Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling set by System." This means Windows tells it the DPI is 96, which is correct for the Cintiq anyway. (Enable H-DPI support is unchecked because it doesn't give good results, probably owing to its not being PER_MONITOR_DPI_AWARE.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
