This wish is coupled with #393611. Please add an option to search for function
declarations. Perhaps form the find bar accessible with a special shortcut.
Perhaps utilizing some form of search regex alias like:
[ \t]?%s[ \t]?((<\-)|(=))[ \t]?function[ \t]?\(
