I have a pdf whose text is not shown in the viewer. However, when selecting
text, the text can be selected. Also, in the print-preview the text is visible.
When viewing the file with mupdf, the text is rendered.
It may be a bug in Okular, poppler, or a problem with the file. I cannot share
the pdf here, but can send it to a developer upon request.
