Could you try running the latest update Krita 4.0.1 and check if the bug
persists? We have fixed a couple of python-related crashes in 4.0.1...
It might also be a good idea to try to reset Krita configuration files as
explained here:
https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#Resetting_Krita_configuration
