--- Comment #28 from Chris Samuel <k...@csamuel.org> --- Hi there, We hit the illegal instruction message on Skylake (6140) CPUs running valgrind on programs linked against OpenMPI 3.0.0; the cause being that with our GCC 5.5 and higher installs memset() causes the VPXORD command to be emitted during various initialisation routines which Valgrind can't handle. It took a bit of digging to track down what was going on, so we're certainly interested in this work!
