            Bug ID: 392005
Summary: UX Is it possible that going up level (backward) in
the menu lead to the item i just activated
           Product: kded-appmenu
           Version: 5.8.4
          Platform: Debian testing
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: menu popup
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: lufh...@runbox.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Hello, i hope it is not a duplicate.
I navigate in the menu with arrows, and it is probably the case of many people
with carpal problem or eye disease.

When i select menu group by pressing right arrow, it is good i have the next
level (habits say me i prefer to see the whole hierarchy, but i can make some
efforts... :p).
But when i go forward (in the breadcrum), with left arrow, the previously
selected item (the parent) is no more selected.
The consequence is that, if i want to explore the submenus of 5th (Graphism)
and 6th (Internet) items i have to hit (at least) :
- 9 times down arrow
- 3 times right arrow : 1 to enter Application group
- 1 time left arrow

Is it possible that going up level (backward) in the menu lead to the item i
just activated ?

( + I prefer to avoid to open a new "UX bug" but when i hit tab, the focus
change on the menu headers, and no visual element indicate me this - i use
Breeze default theme)
