Bug ID: 392003 Summary: Session is not saved periodically, but only saved on a normal shutdown/logout Product: ksmserver Version: 5.11.5 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: l.lu...@kde.org Reporter: jeff...@aosc.io Target Milestone: --- I should point out that, first of all, this is more of a feature request than a bug report... The Plasma desktop doesn't seem to save session (open windows, etc.) on an accidental shutdown (or a forced power off for that matter), but it seems like that sessions are only saved on a normal shutdown - that is, to shutdown/logout Plasma from the session menu. With a forced shutdown, it seems like that Plasma would try and recover a session from the last time the system was shutdown properly, which is bizzare... Could I have some input on this? Is there any particular considerations that has prevented an implementation of periodic saving of session state? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
