Bug ID: 391531 Summary: Desktop wallpaper is black and I cannot interact with the desktop Product: Plasma SDK Version: unspecified Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: plasmawallpaperviewer Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: jali...@gmail.com CC: giorgos.tsiapalio...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Here are the steps to reproduce: 1. Start the computer with KDE Neon 5.12 and two screens (A is on laptop and B is a normal external screen) 2. When on logon screen, by default it seems that the display is kind of cloned, it displays the same logon screen on both screens, but you can move the mouse on one or the other (so it's not really cloned), let's just fill the default screen which is screen A 3. Then KDE plasma loads 4. And the desktop wallpaper is black with nothing on it, when you try to right click there is no menu (maybe a crash) Now if you restart the computer (not switch session), then use the screen B to connect, it seems that the desktop is loading normally with the wallpaper and stuffs on it.. I can't tell much, but I think it could be related to multi-displays, so it depends on which screen you use to login. I have this bug since at least 6 months or more. KDE Plasma: 5.12.2 KDE Frameworks: 5.43.0 Qt: 5.10.0 Linux kernel: 4.13.0.36-generic OS: KDE Neon 5.12 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i7-3820QM @2.7Ghz RAM: 15.6Gio -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
