Just an idea: can you please check with recent Kdenlive 15.12.1 and recent
Ffmpeg and MLT? This could be a memory leak in ffmpeg in particular. I've seen
such issues in the past in my own Kdenlive projects when using older MLT and
Ffmpeg.
