--- Comment #54 from Alexander Schlarb <alexander-kde@ninetailed.ninja> --- @Marco Martin: I've tested with the [Qt binary 5.9.4 binary release](https://download.qt.io/official_releases/qt/5.9/5.9.4/) by setting the correct `PATH`, `LD_LIBRARY_PATH`, `QML2_IMPORT_PATH` & `QT_PLUGIN_PATH` and starting the system `plasmashell` binary with `QCG_RENDER_LOOP=basic`.
