Bug ID: 390973 Summary: Make pre-focused item highlighted until other item being actually clicked in a grouped taskbar entry Product: plasmashell Version: 5.12.1 Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Task Manager Assignee: h...@kde.org Reporter: z...@cnzhx.net CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 110950 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=110950&action=edit Moving mouse cursor on items in a grouped taskbar entry in Windows In KDE Plasma 5, after opening several instances of one app and letting them grouped, try to focus one of the several windows. Now in the taskbar, click the entry to show the popup list of items for the instances. At this point, the item whose window is focused is highlighted. But the highlighting background disappears when moving mouse cursor to other items in the same list. When the list is long and items are having similar names, it is very difficult to to remember which one is currently focused, especially when one has to scroll the list to try to select the very next one. One screenshot is enclosed to show the effect (desired) in Windows 7 as an example. The deep-color-backgrounded one is pre-focused, and the other one is currently hovered by mouse. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
