This is not true. Many applications use the KDE4 config migration helpers to
move their configuration from .kde to .config folder.
If this does not work for the applications you are using, you would need to
report it separately for each application.
Only the application developers can decide which configuration options are
movable to the ported version; we cannot simply copy all files from .kde to
.config folder.
